For Indian students, there are bound to be some challenges when they are pursuing MBBS in a foreign country. In the case of Ukraine, there are no challenges as far as learning is concerned.
However, considering students will have to adjust to a new climate, culture, and food habits, it is natural that some of them will take more time over others to adapt to the change.
Ukraine has a continental influenced climate, which means it faces severe cold and snowy winters. For a considerable time of the year, nearly 3-4 months, the temperature in Ukraine is below 0°.
However, this should be a concern if and only if students are traveling long distances or engaging in essential activities like grocery shopping, etc.
While English is the primary language for teaching foreign MBBS students in Ukraine, students are also taught Ukrainian as part of the curse curriculum. This allows them to manage their essential day to day tasks as well as communicate easily with patients during hospital visits.
Indian students pursuing MBBS in Ukraine have a very promising future. The benefits of holding an MBBS degree from a top University in Ukraine is a promise of great opportunities in India and other parts of the world as well.
Upon completion of the course, Indian students need to qualify for the MCI screening test or NEXT test( previously FMGE exam).
This makes them eligible to continue their practice in India. There is no limit to the number of attempts, and with focus and preparation, most students clear the NEXT exam in the first attempt itself.
