MBBS Course Duration: Zaporozhye State Medical University

ZSMU offers a 6-year MBBS course. The first five years of the course are dedicated to academic and practical learning. The final year is a mandatory 1 year of an internship at a university-affiliated medical hospital.

Admission Intake: Zaporozhye State Medical University

MBBS aspirants can apply for admission during summer or winter intakes. Ideally, students prefer summer intakes i.e between September – October. The admission process for the same starts in June. However, it is always wise to start your application process as early as possible. 

Those students who for some reason fail to apply for the summer intake can enroll in January / February i.e. the winter intakes. There are advantages of winter intakes as well. There are fewer applicants, the Visa Process has less waiting time, and the  M.B.B.S. study groups during winter intakes are smaller.

Courses Offered at Zaporozhye State Medical University

There are 8 Faculties at Zaporozhye State Medical University Foreign students are trained at the International Faculty No. 1.  Foreigners who apply to the I International faculty of the ZSMU are enrolled without entrance examinations. The courses offered to international students include:

1. General Medicine (6 years – MD program)
2. Pediatrics
3. Pharmacy (5 years)
4. Dentistry(5 years)

The university also offers Postgraduate programs . Postgraduate faculty offers training in 29 specialties, including doctoral candidacy — in 12 specialties.
