MBBS Syllabus: Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy

First Year: The first year of the program covers the basics of anatomy and histology. Along with these, students are also taught about primary Nursing (surgery & therapy) and general aspects of public health.

Second Year: In the second year of the course, the students learn about the human body and metabolic processes. The students time during the year is also devoted to learning histology, biochemistry, psychology and pedagogy, microbiology, cell biology and pathology.

Third year: – In the third year, the students get to learn in detail about diseases, the symptoms, the diagnosis, and drugs. It includes pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, genetics and the principle of clinical medicine.

Fourth & Fifth Year: The fourth and fifth years are dedicated to learning the traits of internal and emergency medicine as well as studying and practicing general surgery. They also undergo training at different departments and learn about oncology, pediatrics, neurology, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology.

Sixth Year: The final year is dedicated to internships. During this period students are tested at various levels. Internships are mandatory across all Medical Universities in Russia. They play a crucial role in helping students cover all aspects in the actual practice of medical and health care.
