    Eligibility Criteria: Southwestern University

     

    To enroll for the 5.5-year MBBS program at the Southwestern University, a candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

     

    1. At Least 17 years of age at the time of admission.
    2. Scored at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
    3. Completed 12th standard from English medium school
    4. Appeared for the NEET qualification exam.

    Note: There is no need for students to appear for TOEFL or IELTS. Application forms are accepted based on NEET scores alone.

    MBBS Duration at Southwestern University

    The first year of the MBBS program covers Pre-Medicine. This is followed by four years of MBBS coupled with a 1-year internship. The internship has to be done at one of the university-affiliated medical centers.

    Admission Intake: Southwestern University

    MBBS students can apply for either summer intakes or winter intakes. The majority of the international students prefer summer intakes as there is more time to prepare and settle in the new environment. 

     

    The application process for winter intakes starts in July. Compared to summer intakes, the admission window for winter intakes is smaller. So students should try to complete the application process and documentation needs at the earliest.
