    Admission Intake: Asian Medical Institute

    Asian Medical Institute has two admission windows for its MBBS course. The first is during the summer the second is during the winters.

     

    The application process for the summer intakes starts in January. Classes commence from June onwards. For winter batches, the university starts accepting applications from July onwards.

    MBBS Duration at Asian Medical Institute

     

    The duration of the MBBS course at Asian Medical Institute is 6 years (including a 1-year internship). The internship is at a university-affiliated hospital. Here’s a brief overview of the subjects taught during the five academic years:

    Year 1

    The first year covers basic biomedical subjects. The subjects taught during the academic session include Histology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Ophthalmology, Anatomy, Physiology, etc.

    Year 2

    During the second year, students learn about basic biomedical and allied subjects such as Biochemistry, Microbiology, Analogy, Physiology, and Histology.

    Year 3

    The third covers subjects such as Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Path Physiology. During the year students also get to learn medical practice in Psychiatry, Anesthesia, Radiology, Orthopedics, etc

    Year 4-5

     

    During the remaining two years students learn a host of biomedical and clinical subjects. The primary among these includes Oncology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Cardiology, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Gynecology, ENT, Pediatrics, etc.

    Year6: Internship

     

    Following the completion of the 5-year, a student must join the mandatory internship program at university-affiliated hospitals. This is an opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience and enhance their skills in disease diagnosis, treatment, and patient care.

    Is Asian Medical Institute MBBS Course MCI approved?

     

    Yes, the MBBS course is recognized by the Medical Council of India. You can work as a medical professional once you pass the medical screening test in India.

     

    How long can the VISA process take?/span>

    The student VISA is ideally processed within 2 weeks. However, in the same case, it can take much longer. To be on the safer side, try to complete your application process within the first few weeks. This will give you enough time to complete all remaining formalities in time.

    Should I prepare for IELTS/TOEFL/ PTE?

     

    No, there is no need to do so. If you have completed your HSC in Science from an English medium school with 50% in PCB and have qualified for the NEET exam, you are eligible for admission.

     

    Is Kyrgyzstan expensive?

    No, Kyrgyzstan is not at all expensive. The cost of living in most cities, including Kant, is very low. Moreover, as long as you are living in the university hostel, your most expenses are covered within the hostel fees itself.
