      Upon confirmation, the PMC admission committee will issue an admission letter and an invitation letter. You will receive the invitation letter within 2-3 days.

      Submit Fees

      Book your seat by submitting the initial installment of the course fees. The course fee is calculated on the prevailing exchange rate of the time. Consult our admission counselor for details.

      Get Your Visa

      It’s now time to start your VISA application process. SUbmit the invitation letter and the required documents to the Bangladesh embassy in your region. Your VISA process should take no longer than 10-15 days.

    To enroll at the PMC MBBS program, a candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

     

    1. Minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission.
    2. Completed 10+2 in Science from English medium school
    3. At Least 50% Aggregate in PCB(12th standard)
    4. Appeared for the NEET qualification exam.

    General Medicine (MBBS)

    Admission Intake: Popular Medical College

    PMC accepts new MBBS batches twice a year. MBBS aspirants can choose between summer or winter intakes.

     

    Generally, more candidates apply for summer intakes. Hence, the candidate must complete the application or registration process as early as possible. The registration process for summer intakes starts in March.

     

    If for some reason, a candidate could not make it to the final list of summer intakes, he or she can apply for the winter intakes as well. The registration process for the same starts in July. As there are limited seats for winter intakes, candidates should try to complete all necessary documentation at the earliest.

    MBBS Duration at Popular Medical College

     

    The 5 Academic years at PMC are divided into four phases. Following the completion of the MBBS course, students are also required 1-year of mandatory internships. Here’s a brief overview of the MBBS course curriculum:

    Phase-1 (1 Year and Six Months)

    Subjects taught during the first year include Physiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy, & Community Medicine. At the end of the term, students are assessed for Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry. Results are declared before the start of the next academic year.

    Phase-2 (1 Year)

    Subjects taught during the second phase include Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine plus Medicine with Paediatrics, Histology, Psychiatry, Surgery with Orthopaedics and Trauma. The end of the year assessment is for Community Medicine & Forensic Medicine. Results are declared before the start of the next session.

    Phase-3 (1 Year)

    The third phase covers subjects like Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Allied medicines, Therapeutics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Surgery in allied disciplines. Students are assessed for Microbiology, Pathology, and Pharmacology. Results are shared before the start of the new academic session.

    Phase-4 (1 Year Six Months)

    The final phase is 18 months long and covers subjects such as Dermatology, Psychiatry, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Neuromedicine, Ophthalmology (Eye), Otolaryngology (ENT), and more. Assessment at the end of the term is on Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology (Eye), Otolaryngology (ENT), Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Results are declared before the start of the internship period. 

     

    Following the completion of the 5-year course curriculum, the MBBS students must attend a 1-year internship program at a PMC affiliate medical hospital or healthcare center.
