Founded in 1999-2000, the Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College is a premiere medical institute in Bangladesh. It is the brainchild of the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh- Sheikh Hasina. The college governing body comprises members from the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), Dhaka University, and the Government of Bangladesh.

    Phase-1 (1 Year and Six Months)

    Subjects taught during the four terms include Histology & Micro-technique, Geometry, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Research Methodology, etc. 

    Phase-2 (1 Year)

    During the year-long season, students learn about Community medicine, Forensic medicine, History Of Medicine, Biochemistry, Preventive medicine, Histology, Psychiatry, etc.

    Phase-3 (1 Year)

    The third phase covers subjects like Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Psychiatry, Pharmacology & Therapeutics, Microbiology, Parasitology, Pediatrics, Microbiology, Pathology, etc.

    Phase-4 (1 Year Six Months)
